In these unprecedented times the committee were concerned that the 2020 Cairns Cup would be unable to go ahead for many reasons that was out of our control. We were also unsure when travel from Europe and from the USA would commence again, plus many of our sponsors were going through their own issues in this difficult time. Our tournament director Ian Halliwell has been in constant communication with Celtic Manor, and he is pleased to announce that they have deferred the event for 12-months.
The event will now take place 13th of September until the 19th of September 2021 with all the same provisions we would have had in 2020.We would like to thank all our sponsors and all the players of both teams for their patience in this difficult time, we hope that everybody who is supporting the 2020 event will continue to support the 2021 event. Stay safe everybody and we will give you updates when we know more details.
