Golf Genius

Speaking about the adoption of Golf Genius, John Bell Vice-President and USA Vice-Captain for London 2022 said, “Golf Genius is well known in the states for their superb Tournament Management software. So we couldn’t be prouder to have it powering the bi-annual golf match. I know they will add both excitement and professionalism to all our events going forward!”.

Tournament Management by Golf Genius also allows for sharing Live Leaderboards across your website and social media meaning supporters and sponsors can follow the event from anywhere in the world. This will also work in perfect unison with their social media Broadcast partners LIVESportNow.

Jake Rhodes, International Sales Manager at Golf Genius, commented: “We are thrilled to be powering such a unique and trailblazing event like The Cairns Cup. It’s the perfect showcase for Tournament Management and Golf Genius’ wider service offering. We were inspired by what the players and management team want to achieve, and they have a clear vision on how to get there.”

The Social Golfer

Meanwhile, commenting on his decision to use The Social Golfer Handicap System, Kevin Booth Vice-President and former European Captain said, “We have had a close working relationship with The Social Golfer for a number of years and believe their new Handicap Tracker to be as good as any in the world.”

The Social Golfer is an online Golf Club and Handicap Tracker that uses the rules as set down by the USGA and the R&A. They currently have more than 14K registered users worldwide.

He went on to say “We looked at a few Handicapping options, but we were impressed that their new system allows you to enter scorecards from anywhere, not just your home country. Meaning all the players are using one system. Furthermore, we loved the option to set up your own team pages and keep all the team scores in one place.”
