Michigan making history as two women to captain Cairns Cup teams.
Michigan is the most densely populated state of America, with more golf club per capita than any other state in the USA.
The state of Michigan has more than 800+ golf clubs serving 10m+ people. However, its player pedigree will also be on show in July 2024, with the following players taking centre stage.
However, Michigan 2024 will also proudly boast to being the FIRST EVER mixed sports event in the world where TWO women will lead out their teams a reason why Michigan is making history.
Finally, the Cairns Cup Management team visited the state in October and it was clear from the outset, that ‘Michigander’ are not only looking forward to playing host BUT they are excited to be the first host of the event in the USA.
The event has the backing of Golf Association of Michigan, the Detroit Sports Commission, Golfblogger, Michigan Golf LIVE!, Geek Town USA and many more brands from the local region.
